We were really proud and excited to be asked to put together an exclusive bridal fashion shoot for Kent Bride magazine. We were even more excited that the shoot was to be held at The Old Kent Barn, a lovely venue and a favourite for many of the My Wedding Professionals team.
The gorgeous dresses were provided by Victoria’s Bridal Boutique.
Above is Mylene-Marie by Maggie Sottero, it’s a vintage-inspired princess design with beaded bodice and a sheath skirt. Layers of soft tulle create soft shapes and a subtle split gives a hint of sexiness.
My Wedding Professionals were proud to team up with the wonderful Chic Weddings and Events on this shoot. They took on the styling of the venue for us and set up this amazing floral arch, which would make an amazing focal point at the top of your aisle.
This show-stopping dress is Camden by Maggie Sottero, a beautiful blush mermaid wedding dress in shimmering ruched tulle with a sweetheart neckline and fit and flare skirt. A hidden corset is fitted to show off natural curves and the look is completed with a black velvet ribbon.
We loved making use of the gorgeous gardens at The Old Kent Barn, the meadow was in blossom from above and from below there was still late daffodils and early tulips adding their own splash of colour.
This Stella York dress (style 6025) has a fitted bodice to provide an exceptional fit without sacrificing comfort and the soft breezy tulle and corded lace make it especially pretty.
The Old Kent Barn outside ceremony area is one of their biggest attractions, with overhead cover no matter if it’s rain or shine ceremonies can still take place here. We used this area to photograph the beautiful Connie by Rebecca Ingram and Isadore (style 6767 by Stella York).
Connie has a lovely boho vibe, with a sheer lace bodice and stunning back with keyhole detail.
Isadora is a statement maker, with beaded shoestring straps and an illusion back and satin buttons. The sleek crepe and lace bodice clings in all the right places.
