How to turn your wedding into a magical celebration, as featured in London Bride Magazine.
Our inspiration was drawn from the allure and intrigue of a sophisticated Venetian Ball. We worked this in with elegant bridal wear and show stopping make-up to culminate into a glamorous and contemporary masquerade styled shoot.
The styling used the classic simplicity of white, complimented by the Tiffany Blue to give a slight winter feel to the shoot.
Port Lympne Hotel, provided the perfect backdrop for this glamorous shoot. With it’s Grade 2 listed mansion and landscaped gardens it gave us a stunning setting to work in.
The first make-up phase included a bold eye and nude lips which was then enhanced with iridescent jewels on the inner and outer eye. This complimented our first dress, the stunning “Benton Marie” has an amazing Keela Mikado bodice and tulle ballgown skirt with lace motifs, to make a bride feel like a princess. Featuring a sweetheart neckline and basque waist it is finished with crystal buttons, it also features Maggie Sottero’s special shape wear lining to give a figure flattering fit.
The second make-up phase was completed by a lace design, air brushed directly onto our brides face and a Tiffany blue tear drop. This worked so well with the beautiful Stella York Anika (6404) dress, which is a modern brides dream. It’s high neck and graphic lace highlight the collarbone and traces down through the hips, creating a silhouette that hits in all the right places. A gorgeous illusion back is accentuated by fabric covered buttons which trial down to a sweeping crepe train.
One aspect that made the shoot unique was the intricate, white Henna lace design wrapped around the hand and forearm, which was then embellished with a painted shimmer of silver. This combined with the use of a stunning range of masks really gave the shoot a wonderful mix of bridal and masquerade.
The flowers were soft and elegant, with trailing orchids. The detailed gold stationery gave the feel of sophistication and warmth was added by the scented candles.
Our cake combined the elegant flowers with the gold and blue tones to pull the whole look together.
No masquerade ball is complete without a signature cocktail and this is our nod to the modern trend and the signage is a real focal point.
